Mulberry City Commission Schedules Redistricting Forums, Budget Workshops This Summer
Mulberry residents will have multiple opportunities this summer to weigh in on the city’s future, with the City Commission scheduling public engagement forums on redistricting and a series of budget workshops running through August.
The commission will hold two public engagement forums on redistricting in July, giving community members a chance to provide input on proposed changes to Mulberry’s commission districts. Both sessions will take place at Studio 37, located at 400 North Church Avenue. The first forum is set for Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m., with a second session on Saturday, July 18, at 10 a.m. No commission action will be taken at either forum.
On the budget side, the City Commission has scheduled three workshops for fiscal year 2026-2027, beginning with a session on Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 104 S. Church Avenue. Additional budget workshops are scheduled for Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 5 p.m., also at the commission chambers.
The city’s Community Redevelopment Agency will hold its own FY 2026-2027 budget workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m., also at the commission chambers, immediately preceding the commission’s evening session.
All meetings are open to the public. Residents with disabilities who need accommodations should contact the City Clerk’s Office at 104 S. Church Avenue at least two days before any proceeding by calling (863) 425-1125, extension 223. Those who are vision- or hearing-impaired may call the Florida Relay Service at (800) 955-8771 (TDD) or (800) 955-8770 (Voice).
