Lake Alfred: America 250 Monument at city Hall & Hamilton Movie at Gardner Park

Friday, July 3rd: America 250 Monument Dedication, Lake Alfred City Hall at 5:00 pm, followed by History Trivia and Hamilton movie showing at Gardner Park at 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Lake Alfred is marking the nation’s 250th birthday with something that will outlast the weekend. The city received an America Grant to create a permanent monument honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. The celebration begins with a dedication ceremony at City Hall, followed by the official unveiling of the Revolutionary Monument at Gardner Park.
