Notice of Pre-Qualification Everett Whitehead & Son, Inc., dba Whitehead Construction, on behalf of Polk County, is currently pre-qualifying any firm that wishes to submit a proposal for any and all trades for the Smith Lane Joint-Use Fire Rescue Station project located at 2421 Smith Lane, Bartow, FL 33830. The scope of work for this project includes: landscape/ sod/ irrigation, metal fencing & gates, final cleaning, concrete (flat-work & vertical), masonry (block & brick), structural steel/ handrails, wood trusses, cabinetry &millwork, insulation, roofing & flashing, windows/ glazing, hollow metal/ wood doors & hardware, metal stud framing & drywall, ceramic tile, flooring/ base, acoustical ceilings, painting, markerboards/ tackboards, signage, misc. specialties, toilet accessories, fire extinguishers & fire extinguisher cabinets, window treatments, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical/ low voltage, sealants & caulking, screen enclosures, overhead doors, stucco, flag poles, appliances, lockers.
