Lake Wales: Rockin’ the Ridge

Lake Wales brings Rockin’ the Ridge back to Lake Wailes Park, 33 N. Lakeshore Blvd., on July 4 starting at 3 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m. The free event features live entertainment, inflatables, train rides, rock climbing, food and retail vendors, face painting, a glow-in-the-dark foam party, a watermelon eating contest, a costume contest, and patriotic stilt walkers roaming the park. Alcohol is permitted at the event.
