SUMMARY:Lakeland Cardboard Boat Challenge and Lakes Festival (Lakeland)
DESCRIPTION:Teams build boats out of cardboard and tape\, then race them across a corner of Lake Hollingsworth while everyone else watches to see which ones sink. The race itself starts at 10 a.m.\, which is the part worth arriving for if you are coming to watch rather than to paddle.\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, Oct 10\, 2026\, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PMWhere: Lake Hollingsworth Boat Ramp\, Lakeland\, FL (street address not published)Cost: Team registration $35\n\n\nOrganizer pageRead the full weekend guide on The Citrus Tea NewsSee everything happening this weekend
